Hi Thomas just read your message, I was curious to gain the publics thoughts on a mobile EV charging service I am working on, looks like they haven't taken to it too well

Hi Glyn

My name is Jim Rooke and I've finally purchased my env200. My only problem is that I can't charge with the cable that came with the van. I can charge at chademo but that's it. Nissan looked at it and said everything was fine but when i got it back I still have the same problem. I think its the cable but can't be sure.
Any ideas as to what might be wrong?

Thanks
Jim

My local dealer wanted my EV6 in at 10k for a warranty inspection (their words) but they appeared to have done things like rotate the tyres, check levels and software plus a battery SoH check (100%) so I'm not sure if the 20k service will just be a rerun of that, only cost me £90 which in the grand scheme of car servicing is peanuts.

Odd indeed. I have three modes of AC charging at home. Three phase 11kw. (16 amp 220 v) One phase 16 amp 220v and 10 amp 220 standard outlet. At 50k km it stopped charging 16 amp three and single phase without warning. 10 amp charging works.

Hi James,
I hope you don't mind me asking, once you spoke with EcoCars, how long did it take them to find you your UX300e?
I'm very keen to buy a used one, similar budget to yourself and am grateful for your recommendation of them in the forum.
I hope you're enjoying the car!
Cheers,
Alan

Hi Alan, I set up a BCA account, so I could monitor upcoming cars myself. I only had to monitor it for a few weeks until I saw one I liked. I then rang Eco cars and asked them to bid for me. You can set up a BCA account for free, which lets you search for cars and view the condition reports and photos. You can’t see the pricing (some have a buy it now and some have a CAP guide price).

Very pleased with the car, in fact we were so impressed we have swapped our other car for a Lexus too (that one is a hybrid NX).

Thanks so much James!
I think I need to register as a business or sole trader and provide some docs to BCA to gain access, so I'll aim to do this later today.
I've also sent my info to EcoCars and have been told they will arrange a call back to go through requirements etc.
Really appreciate all the info.

Hello Toomba, I have Renault Fluence ZE with mysterious DTC code 0420F1 Can Communication fault with electric Danger in dash. No other codes. Do you have experiences about this code? I also do Nissan Leaf battery upgrades and I have Zoe 40kWh battery and I am interested to buy Zoe 22 if battery upgrade is possible.

Hi Andy,
We have a 3.5 year old chargemaster and the red fault light has started coming on at the end of a charge (most times, but not every time) and needing a reset. We're just out of warranty so BP won't help at all, and I can't find anyone locally who will repair an EV charger. We're in Exeter so a bit far from you but I was wondering if you might have any ideas?
Thanks,
Matt

I've seen a few with this fault, and the fix has always been to replace a capacitor. Not the electrolytics, but the blue rectangular one next to the relays (0.47uF 305V).

Hi plord. I saw your post regarding car not starting and error code C182C00. Had the same thing recently with my ioniq5, it would appear to turn on but would not engage to D or R, just N. Did your dealer indicate if this code was related to the car not starting? Mine says it's not. Thanks
