    EV:
    Vauxhall Ampera
These were specced exactly as per the Opel / Vauxhall accessory brochure and were on the Ampera for just 2 winters - about 4 months in total. I'm hoping someone can make use of them with the winter weather apparently on its way (?!). Cost me £440 from Tyreleader and happy to take half that. For speed I've only posted invoice extract so any other queries fire away ( but please save the debate on the merits of winter tyres for the discussion threads !!). Personally I found them a massive improvement. Location - near Cardiff.

I also bought from tyreleader like you, but got alloy wheels. I'm a steel-wheel kinda guy but my wife persuaded me to not have all our cars on hub-cap-less steels and get alloys! As it happens, they are standing up extremely well to the winter conditions for alloys, still immaculate (darn sight better durability than the made-in-China Ampera OE rims!).

I bought tougher/cheaper tyres than yours, though, I probably should have picked what you got.
